ACCREDITATIONS

Accreditation is the confirmation, from an external organisation, that a school provides a quality of education that the international community has a right to expect and one that the education world endorses. Accreditation is a means of showing confidence in a school’s performance and is therefore seen by St. John’s as a very important aspect and focus for the school.

St. John’s International School is fully accredited by three organisations: the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, the Council of International Schools and the International Baccalaureate Organisation.

Accreditation shows that:

  • the school is aligned to its mission
  • the school knows itself. It has thought deeply about the services it offers to students, family and the community
  • the school is student-orientated
  • the school accepts objective assessment. It is prepared to open its doors periodically to regular evaluation by the school community and by external independent evaluators
  • the school is constantly seeking to improve its performance in curricular and other areas
  • the school plans for the future.
