Students from the International School of Como partake in the First Lego League

The International School of Como (ISC) entered a group of eager students into the First Lego League (FLL) competition. The students were selected based on their skills in programming, engineering and collaboration. The team is known as the ‘InfinityBots’.

In February of this year, the team set off to partake in a regional competition. They received an award for crafting the most innovative solution and earned their place at the Italian national competition in Rovereto, Italy. At the national competition, this group of students was selected to participate in the FLL International Open in Izmir, Turkey, to represent Italy in a four-day contest.

The students of ISC displayed excellent sportsmanship and teamwork during the competition. The teams were required to build a robot, solve a scientific problem and create an exhibition. The students received two awards, based on their design and exhibition.

The team reported that they will continue to refine their programming techniques and aspire to compete in future competitions. The International School of Como continues to support students to develop and maintain their interest in design and architecture.
