REDDAM HOUSE BERKSHIRE STUDENTS SETTLE INTO NEW FACILITIES

Reddam House Berkshire students were excited to move into their new biology lab, as work finished in May on their new facility.

Offering a stark contrast to the old dark, traditional furnishings and layout, the beautiful paint and white worktops brighten this large area and offer world-class teaching facilities with a prime demonstration space, ample area for practical work and of course, lots of storage for all-important equipment!

The layout of the new labs puts collaboration and practical work at the heart of the science curriculum,

giving student and teacher opportunities for interaction and direct instruction. It is this focus on practical exploration which is the cornerstone of the Science department’s success at GCSE and A-level, with excellent results at both. Science at Reddam House Berkshire is a popular A-level choice, for international or local students joining the Sixth Form programme and for our existing students as they continue their education to A-level.

This completes the third laboratory upgrade and ensures the Science Department is in keeping with the rest of this beautifully restored Victorian Mansion, providing state of the art facilities across all subject areas.
