Following authorisation to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, the International School of Monza (IS Monza) became the fourth full-IB-continuum school in Italy, with two of the three schools being members of the International School of Europe (ISE) and Inspired network.
IS Monza is proud that two visits from the IB over the past year commended its teachers, leadership and governance for its commitment to offering excellence in international education. Of note, was the praise of the parent community, who demonstrated an unrivaled understanding of and enthusiasm for the programmes. This was mirrored by the comments in the IB’s official report which spoke of the positive energy and knowledge evident amongst the school’s teachers and leadership.
Apart from the academic programme, the IB was thoroughly impressed by the culture of student involvement in the community – an element that lies at the very heart of IB and Inspired philosophies and which IS Monza can be proud to exemplify. IS Monza is confident that this glowing report will be replicated when the IB evaluates the school’s Primary and Middle Years Programmes in the next academic year.
