The position

Reporting to the Global Director of Marketing and Customer Experience, the key focus of the role is to develop and implement strategies to grow the recruitment of new students as well as retain existing ones.  

The post-holder will be responsible for shaping the end-to-end experience for prospective parents and students and implement best practice processes to improve the current in-school conversion rate. This position will drive conversion rates across key stages of the customer journey and support schools to achieve our enrolments goals across all the schools in Europe. This role is jointly accountable with the head teachers for delivering the enrolment targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a holistic customer journey experience and shape all customer touchpoints to drive conversion rates across all stages of engagement
  • Ensure admissions, conversion approach and associated processes enable the school to optimise achievement of student recruitment targets with significant accountability for conversion from enquiry to application and application to enrolment. 
  • Working closely with school-based admissions personnel, lead all applicant-facing activities, incl. development of all relevant systems, tactics and plans
  • Ensure all enrolment activities are tracked and measured to enable weekly reviews of conversion and enrolment activity. This should cover qualified leads, visits, applications, offers and acceptances.
  • Ensure service standards and quality assurance procedures are met and evolve with parent expectations and needs.
  • Set clear ‘best practice processes and training’ for in school teams in terms of conversion activities and enrolment follow-ups by regionalizing the global standards and guidelines, ensuring definitions are aligned with the rest of the world.
  • Undertake data analysis and lead, coach and develop the team to maintain accurate data in school systems, enabling responsive decision-making through the enrolment process and accurate forecasting during annual planning. 
  • Assist the head of school and admissions teams to define enrolment budgets/ forecasts and work closely with finance to review data integrity.
  • Lead all enrolment analytics and provide reports, analysis and recommended actions regarding the current and forecasted pipeline.
  • Help open new channels of lead generation (feeder schools, corporate partnerships)
  • Work with Inspired International Recruitment to further establish, maintain and develop the international recruitment strategy, including the identification and management of new overseas markets and agency relationships (boarding)
  • In close coordination with the MDs drive plans to enhance our share of the corporate market
  • Work with the schools to devise and implement a strategy to improve retention of existing students across all schools
  • Improve each schools’ conversion rate of application to enrolment
  • Drive business development opportunities across Europe
  • Support the school teams and onboard new admissions staff across the region, ensuring they have the knowledge, training and support to deliver a customer-centred service.  
  • Working with the Marketing team, ensure each school has an enrolment action plan aligned to the annual marketing plan. 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Educated to degree level plus one years’ related experience in an educational setting. (Candidates without a bachelor's degree but with equivalent professional experience are encouraged to apply).
  • An understanding of the principles of sales and marketing and has demonstrated success in managing sales teams.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with an ability to lead and motivate a team of staff and build effective and trusting relationships and professional networks in the wider community. 
  • Highly competent using a range of IT systems including Microsoft Office and & data analytics tools.
  • Experience of working with CRM systems and integration with the sales life cycle. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build confidence and credibility at senior levels both in person and through papers, presentations and reports. This includes the ability to distil and communicate complex information, to persuade and influence, and to keep senior management abreast of progress and performance. 
  • Ability to operate at a strategic level whilst ensuring translation of the strategy into clear, measurable deliverables.

  • Participate in student focus meetings working with the Grade 12 Leader and Advisors to ensure students reach their potential, creating individual work plans where necessary.

  • DP results analysis:

- Collect, analyze, and share annual DP results data with SLT and the Board. Both raw data and a report gathered from an expert external organization will be used and shared.

- Organize and oversee the annual DP results analysis process with the teachers and subject leaders.

  • Ensure that teachers have all relevant materials for their curricular area (My IB) and general IB publications.
  • Provide induction training for new DP teachers.

  • Coordinate all Group 1 oral and Group 2 oral/aural exams.
  • Organise Gr 11 December and June exams and external invigilators, organise Gr 12 staggered December examinations and two-week mock exams with external invigilators.
  • Coordinate the Internal and External Assessment deadlines calendar, ensuring the best possible spread of tasks across the two years.
  • Place orders for materials.
  • Communicate DP exam protocol to key stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate issues of malpractice to students and parents in collaboration with relevant members of the Welfare team.
  • Update all print and web-based materials related to the DP Programme, in collaboration with the Marketing and Admissions Manager.
