The Role

This is an exciting new role in a growing area of the business – online education. It is a broad marketing role, which will require someone who can work in a fast-paced environment. Responsible for product management and implementing the integrated marketing plan for our online education brands – this includes the new King’s College Online brand as well as other new products that are in development. Working with the CMO Marketing, CEO Online Schools and the global marketing team, you will develop the product offering, customer experience, marketing strategy and execute the plan.

This role will be responsible for lead generation activity across all channels, content creation, social media management, brand building, CRM, campaign planning and delivery.  Digital marketing will be a core part of this role and this role will be responsible for briefing and providing digital assets to our in-house digital marketing and web team to implement.

For this role, we are looking for a passionate and dynamic person with strong motivation and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of proven experience in Marketing/Communications, with a strong understanding of digital marketing. We are looking for someone who is keen to develop their career and passion for marketing, is organized and action oriented. 

 

Working with senior leadership, the education team, admissions team and central marketing team, you will interact and work with all areas of the Inspired group.  Therefore, we are looking for an excellent communicator, who is happy to multi-task and someone who can relate to and understand the complexities that online education has, in order to grow this exciting new part of the Inspired business.

 Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Work with the marketing and sales/admissions team to develop and implement the annual Online Education marketing & communications plan, in line with a proposed budget with the core focus to drive student enrolment and retention across our online products.
  • Campaign planning and execution.
  • Develop and execute clear messaging strategies for each product, market and audience.
  • Proposition development. Work in partnership with the education team in order to communicate the product offering and develop as necessary to meet customer needs (students, parents, agents, partners, staff). Gather insights internally and externally to recommend and implement changes to the product to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Content creation and management. Create and maintain assets including copy platforms, images, videos, prospectus, web and social content, CRM and testimonials.
  • Work with the Head of Digital to deliver leads from our paid and non-paid digital channels. Your role will be to input into the strategy and agree the plan. The Head of digital will execute all paid digital marketing activity.
  • Work with the Head of Digital Transformation to deliver a best-in-class web experience for parents and students, providing content that will drive conversions. This means you will need to regularly review web content and performance and provide direction and content updates.
  • Social media management – create and execute a content calendar and use social media to build brand awareness and reputation to drive organic growth.
  • Evaluate and develop the Prospecting CRM journey content to attract and convert new students.
  • Maintain and build our image and reputation across paid, owned and earned channels. Ensure that customer insights are at the core of planning and marketing execution.
  • Regularly review the admissions data to ensure that we are on top of trends and anticipating any areas where we may need to intervene and support with marketing activities / campaigns to drive ROI.

Role

 Inspired Education is now backing a ground-breaking new initiative – Kings College Online, the first global online premium international secondary school. Now live with a small initial cohort, we are starting to scale this radical new approach to education and are looking for the right people to help us increase the numbers of students for our late summer enrolment intakes.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Experience Europe/ APAC (dependent on location applied for), you will be sales focused and responsible for the delivery of a highly effective admissions and applicant service. Key activities include identifying and qualifying prospects, initiating new sales activity, and contributing to sales cycle management to closure. Additionally, the role requires the assessment of client needs and providing clients with specific guidance and product overviews.

 Key Responsibilities  

  • Meet or exceed enrolment goals and targets that align with the company's vision and objectives.
  • Ensure admissions, conversion approach and associated processes enable the school to optimise achievement of student recruitment targets with significant accountability for conversion from enquiry to application and application to enrolment.

The post-holder will be responsible for shaping the end-to-end experience for prospective parents and students and implement best practice processes to improve the current in-school conversion rate. This position will drive conversion rates across key stages of the customer journey and support schools to achieve our enrolments goals across all the schools in Europe. This role is jointly accountable with the head teachers for delivering the enrolment targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a holistic customer journey experience and shape all customer touchpoints to drive conversion rates across all stages of engagement
  • Ensure admissions, conversion approach and associated processes enable the school to optimise achievement of student recruitment targets with significant accountability for conversion from enquiry to application and application to enrolment. 
  • Working closely with school-based admissions personnel, lead all applicant-facing activities, incl. development of all relevant systems, tactics and plans
  • Ensure all enrolment activities are tracked and measured to enable weekly reviews of conversion and enrolment activity. This should cover qualified leads, visits, applications, offers and acceptances.
  • Ensure service standards and quality assurance procedures are met and evolve with parent expectations and needs.
  • Set clear ‘best practice processes and training’ for in school teams in terms of conversion activities and enrolment follow-ups by regionalizing the global standards and guidelines, ensuring definitions are aligned with the rest of the world.
  • Undertake data analysis and lead, coach and develop the team to maintain accurate data in school systems, enabling responsive decision-making through the enrolment process and accurate forecasting during annual planning. 
  • Assist the head of school and admissions teams to define enrolment budgets/ forecasts and work closely with finance to review data integrity.
  • Lead all enrolment analytics and provide reports, analysis and recommended actions regarding the current and forecasted pipeline.
  • Help open new channels of lead generation (feeder schools, corporate partnerships)
  • Work with Inspired International Recruitment to further establish, maintain and develop the international recruitment strategy, including the identification and management of new overseas markets and agency relationships (boarding)
  • In close coordination with the MDs drive plans to enhance our share of the corporate market
  • Work with the schools to devise and implement a strategy to improve retention of existing students across all schools

  • Support and encourage the DP students to achieve their academic best, and in this context, assist in identifying students who are not reaching their individual potential.
  • Participate in student focus meetings working with the Grade 12 Leader and Advisors to ensure students reach their potential, creating individual work plans where necessary.
  • Work with the Principal to enhance and increase Value Added scores.
  • DP results analysis:

- Collect, analyze, and share annual DP results data with SLT and the Board. Both raw data and a report gathered from an expert external organization will be used and shared.

- Organize and oversee the annual DP results analysis process with the teachers and subject leaders.

  • Ensure that teachers have all relevant materials for their curricular area (My IB) and general IB publications.
  • Provide induction training for new DP teachers.
  • Collaborate with teachers to support the implementation and development of the Diploma Programme including Managebac unit planning and forward-thinking classroom practice.
  • Collaborate with the admissions team meeting visiting families as appropriate.
  • Drive the Curriculum review cycle with the other IB Coordinators to move towards a integrated whole school curriculum

 

Procedural and administrative duties

  • Organize and oversee all DP fee payment in collaboration with the business office.
  • Oversee registration of teachers for DP workshops.
  • Develop presentations about the DP to various stakeholders.
  • Register students for DP courses on IBIS.
  • Maintain and manage uploading of all data for all predicted grades, and internal and external assessment components.
  • Communicate and liaise with parents regarding exam fees, letters of general information, group and individual meetings, as necessary.
  • Coordinate all Group 1 oral and Group 2 oral/aural exams.
  • Organise Gr 11 December and June exams and external invigilators, organise Gr 12 staggered December examinations and two-week mock exams with external invigilators.
  • Coordinate the Internal and External Assessment deadlines calendar, ensuring the best possible spread of tasks across the two years.
  • Place orders for materials.
  • Communicate DP exam protocol to key stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate issues of malpractice to students and parents in collaboration with relevant members of the Welfare team.
  • Update all print and web-based materials related to the DP Programme, in collaboration with the Marketing and Admissions Manager.
  • Register request for results services and legalization of diplomas, as necessary.
  • Enter requests for Enquiry Upon Results for students and teachers.
  • On-site and virtual availability early July for approximately ten days for the distribution of IB results and related questions.
  • Create and maintain annual budgets.
  • Organize and complete the 5 yearly DP self-study.
  • Secretarial assistance will be made available to the DP Coordinator on a needs basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Principal responsibilities
• Be able to engage with, care for and inspire children;
• Contribute to the day to day organisation and smooth running of the Early Learning School;
• Be responsible at all times as part of the wider team for high standards of care and education of children between 3 – 36 months in accordance with statutory requirements;
• Assist the other staff in giving regular feedback to parents about their child’s development and progress;
• Prepare the classroom indoors and outdoors and ensure that it is safe, clean and tidy at the start and end of each session;
• Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment which facilitates children’s autonomous, independent learning and enable children to maximise their full potential;
• Establish and maintain good partnerships with colleagues, parents and carers, outside agencies and children including good home-school links;
• Work collaboratively and demonstrate a positive work ethic and strong team spirit.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
• To carry out basic First Aid duties (training will be provided);
• Be prepared to attend training as necessary ensuring all legislative training is kept up to date;
• To observe and manage all Health and Safety requirements to maintain a safe environment for students, colleagues and parents;
• To establish effective working relationships with professional colleagues and other staff, as appropriate;
• To have a working knowledge of all relevant Policies and Procedures;
• To be committed to ensuring that every child is given the opportunity to achieve their potential and meet the high expectations set for them;
• To carry out any such task as shall be deemed necessary to the smooth running of the Early Learning School.

This is a rare and outstanding opportunity to assume the leadership of King’s College School, The Bahamas, a brand-new premium school opened by Inspired education. With the school opening in September 2022 and ultimately catering to 350 students aged 3-14, the Founding Head will develop and bring into reality a compelling vision for a school that will offer an academically rigorous education allowing students to successfully transfer to other Inspired schools around the world. For the Founding Head, this will be a career-defining leadership challenge. The founding team will carefully shape an educational offer based on an understanding of Inspired’s ethos and the needs of the local market. The successful candidate will combine a track record of highly successful leadership and a passion for broad and rigorous education. He or she must have the desire to work as part of a regional team, and to build a close relationship with the Regional CEO, his team, and the regional family of schools.

The profile

The ideal Founding Head will have an entrepreneurial attitude and a hands-on approach to opening the school successfully, with an exceptional curriculum, extensive co-curricular programme, and an excellent founding staff body in place. S/he will possess adaptability and resilience, intellect, conviction, and an international perspective.
